Coming to an End

*sigh* The summer's coming to an end. I think yesterday was my last day at the market. A week from now, I'll be back in school. Hard to believe. I have no idea where all the time went. I should read through these entries to figure it out. Come to think of it, all but two or so entries take place during the summer break at this point. So in a way, it's like a record of my summer. Kinda neat.

In other, happier news, I'mma celebrate my birthday this weekend, so I can have it during break (My actual birthday's September 3rd). That should be fun!

Boston

Whee! Boston was pretty fun. Left my sister's apartment early this morning and arrived around 9. So what was I doing in Boston anyways? Pretty sketchy, huh? Well, we went to the museum. They had a Lord of the Rings exhibit which was freaking awesome. Movie props and concept sketches galore! Unfortunately, no flash photography was allowed. Awww. :( They had alot of other cool exhibits as well. It'd take far too long to go through them though. Also, it was the first time I've been in one of those Omnimax theaters where the screen is, like, really huge and surrounds you so it feels like you're really in the movie that they're showing. Some advice if you ever go to one: NEVER SIT IN THE MIDDLE. Go as far up as you can. You get so freaking dizzy if you're in the middle. We were in the center for the first show we watched, and it got disorientating at some points. The whole experience was really cool though. It does feel like you're really there. It was really bizarre later though, because on the way back to Maine (Which never has tornadoes, nor any other extreme weather. EVER.), we heard a tornado warning on the radio. Luckily, it dissipated before even touching the ground (Haha. PWNED. XD). But we had just seen one of those Omnimax movies about tornadoes. It was weird. Anyways, one final note: Boston drivers are insane.

Gone Boston...ing

Whoo! Got my anime yesterday! So awesome. They came in pretty casing too. :D

So I'm going to be dissapearing in a few hours to go to my sister's. From there, I'll be going to Boston. Thus, I won't be around till Friday night or something. Hold the fort down for me. Or... whatever.

Pigeons

When I grow up, I want to be a pigeon. That way, when someone ticks me off, I'll just crap on them. Pigeons are so cool. They eat leaves. :)

Revenge of the MSN Quotes!

Urza: HEY ZEFER FACE.
Zefer: Hey
Urza: I think we have some business to discuss.
Zefer: We do?
Urza: Well, no.
Zefer: Oh
Urza: Well, actually!
Zefer: Yes?
Urza: We need to discuss who owns the rights to our new hit single.
Zefer: Our what?
Urza: Our new song! Y'know?
Zefer: No... No I don't know
Urza: I'll refresh your memory.
Urza: It goes a little somethin' like: Urza... Zefer! Urz n' Zefer! Urza... Zefer! Urz n' Zefer!
Zefer: ...
Zefer: Yeah, you can have it.

Baha: And can you tell me a story?
Baha: About the Masters?
Urza: Okay. Gather round the fire, kid.
Baha: Ow...fire hot.
Urza: Once upon a time, there was a happy little village named the Forum! It was filled with happy little Forumites who lived happy little lives despite being oppressed by the Mongol dictator, Frank Verderosa!
Baha: Isn't Verderosa more French?
Urza: Most likely. Mongol just makes him sound more... oppressing.
Urza: Aaanyways, they all lived happily until ONE day, when infamous Master Arc appeared!
Urza: Little did they know, Master Arc was actually a former Forumite with a name that sounds an awful lot like an American presidential candidate!
Baha: Al Gore?
Urza: McDohl.
Baha: And he was...?
Urza: It always seemed to remind me of Bob Dole.
Baha: You have to make this completely idiot proof...
Baha: I don't even know who McDohl was.
Urza: Hold on, hold on, hold on.
Urza: Now, Mister Arc brought alot of other, less infamous people with him, also with that dreaded "Master" prefix. But they pretty much didn't do anything.
Baha: I still don't know who McDohl is.
Urza: As a Forumite?
Baha: Yeah.
Urza: Yeah, hold on, hold on, hold on.
Urza: Whilst the rest of the Masters just stood around, looking important, Master Arc did some horrible things.
Baha: How the fuck can you stand around in a Forum?
Baha: Are they like "Arrr! Our username is in the signed in list! Fear us!"?
Urza: Yes.
Urza: But as an example of his horrific crimes, he searched for the whiniest woman and made her his forced bride. Her name was Rinny.
Baha: I still don't know why McDohl got banned!
Baha: And how do you make someone your forced bride, on a message board?
Urza: AND SO THEN, Master Arc pillaged the village and set fire to the mistresses. Except Kat. She became the first woman to create a manned catapult. That was a pretty valuable weapon during the conflict.
Baha: No...really.
Urza: S-so the drama built and built, until the Forum was almost eliminated! And then, finding the time just right, Master Arc REVEALED himself as McDohl. The common reaction was "WTF?" and no one really knew who he was.
Urza: And then he was all like "You disgraced me in my former form, and now I must GOTH GOTH GOTH GOTH revenge!". But NO ONE knew what he was talking about. And then he like, "Oops. Maybe this was the wrong message board." And he left, and started his own fast food chain.
Urza: And THAT'S how Frank succumbed to DEMOCRACY!
Baha: And the chat room?
Urza: His Mongol brethren had to take it to his son's coming of age celebration.
Baha: Uh...?
Baha: Can you tell it seriously now?
Urza: No.

*Emmanuel (Y'know? From Grace Children's Orphanage? :D) is invited into the converation*

*Everyone leaves besides Emmanuel*

Identity Swap Day

Chi declared today Identity Swap Day! Well, it almost worked. I've gotta give Chi credit for trying to pull it together. It was a great idea n' all. Just not enough participation. *shakes fist at jd and Val* Oh, and I got to be Wispy. Hurrah. :P

Completely unrelated... *points to the top of the page* What is that?

The Olympics

Sooo... who's been watching the Olymics?! Because I certainly haven't. Unless I'm really bored, I never watch sports. No matter how global they are. However, I did and usually do watch the opening ceremony of the Olympics. They usually do some neat stuff for it, and this one certainly did. Very elaborate. Considering the amount of time the Greeks put off that thing, the Olympic Stadium turned out pretty kick-ass.

Tater Tots

Ian came over yesterday and spent the night. We played a bit of GTA2 and Timesplitters 2. Then watched some Love Hina. Zaniness ensued. "I think tater tots are pretty much the best food ever made." XD

My Muchly Abridged Week

Okay! Let's see how many words it takes me to describe a week!

Tuesday, went to Ian's. Played Thief III, which he had recently acquired. Awesome game. Later, Darren joined us. Whose Line games ensued. Then Darren almost blew up Ian's computer. But he didn't. Went home. Ordered pizza. *shock & awe* Which, like, hardly ever happens.

Wednesday, wooork. Started out pretty normal till around 6 or 7, when it started down pouring. It was vicious. But luckily, that didn't last to long, so business proceeded pretty normally. I'm planning on using my earnings for some anime DVDs. So hopefully, within a week or two, I should have the complete Cowboy Bebop and Escaflowne series. Whoo!

As far as comics went this week, I managed to complete a M-W-F schedule. With help from Mr. Catfish. ;) I have no idea what I'll use next week. I'd like to do every week day, but I might end up with M-W-F again. We'll see.

And that concludes my muchly abridged week!

The Penguin Within Me

A BLEACH BLONDE Penguin Lies Beneath!

I took the Inner Penguin online quiz and found out I am a Bleach Blonde Penguin on the inside. Now this is quite a do-gooder kind of penguin. ^^ Being one of these wondrous birds is quite the experience; I'm what can be known as 'the quiet one' or in some extreme cases 'the wussy one'. This is because I have a great affinity for helping people out. My broad repertoire of healing techniques are well-known. Those who stick by me are lucky, as I tend to help them when help is most needed.

I don't think much of myself, and never put my own well-being above my friends. I'm calm, pleasant, intelligent, and vastly fun to talk to. On the battlefield, however, my healing purposes are my only strength. When it comes down to actually fighting, I'm not exactly gifted. Hiding behind a strong friend is always the best option! XD

This is old, but way awesome. :D

That Anniversary Thing

As I said before, I went to my grandparents' 50th anniversary party. The seeecret one. They seemed to be pretty suprised. I took pictures, recorded stuff, and talked to relatives of whom no clue of their relation to me. And my uncle who was hosting the thing had his dog running around, slobering on everything. *twitch, twitch* If America was a dictatorship, and I were running it, I would have a huuuge dog genocide. It'd be like Hitler's, only mine would make sense. But anways, it was never too boring considering what it was. My mom did a great job planning it all.

These entries are getting so vague. ;)

Contageous Depression

Chi got reconnected, like, two days ago. That makes me happy. But right now, everyone's depressed. That makes me sad. Zefer's being all weird again. Supposedly, he's leaving us. Then it got contageous, and Karma got depressed. He said he was leaving. And Chi got it too, and he left as well. Then I decided to hop on the bandwagon and threatened to leave as well. I never can tell when we're being serious, but hopfully they'll all be coming back. =/

Anyhow, not going to be around tomorrow. Anniversary thing. Hurrah.

Relatives

It's been a busy few days. Especially with relatives over. First, on Saturday, my gandparents came. We went on a walk in some marsh. Which sounds stupid. And more or less was. I still got some pretty pictures though. I'll post them here if I can get the digital forms.

Sunday, there was some anniversary of some aunt of an aunt that I don't really know. But I didn't have to go. Thank god. OLD PEOPLE SMAAASH.

Then, Monday, my uncle who's in the navy came home. But my grandparents don't know, because it's a surprise! OMG, the secrecy. Anyways, he'll be staying here till Saturday when we throw my grandparents a seeecreet anniversary party of their own. That might actually be fun, because apparently, I get to take pictures and video tape stuff. I'm so doing commentary. :D
